Speaking of Ozark Folk music, Marideth Sisco, long time folk singer, songwriter, photographer, teacher and now vocalist and musical consultant for the movie Winter’s Bone is on her way to Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah. At our last conversation Marideth was still struggling to acquire a winter coat and starting to get excited about the trip to Utah. Marideth was first approached about performing a song or two in Winter’s Bone for the musical background and the job quickly turned into musical consultant and lead vocalist for the soundtrack. She is joined in her performance by Denise Crider, Van Colbert and Linda Stoffel.
