I recently rekindled my meditation routine. At least as much of it as I can. Years ago while living in California, I learned Transcendental Meditation, per Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, along with several friends. Some of them took the advanced classes and learned to fly. Really.
I’ve always understood and accepted that if you believe something enough it can be real. I never was sure I could fly, unless there was an airplane involved. Several of them equated it to a great high without all the fuss and expense!
Anyway, every morning for the last week plus I have been assuming the lotus position and Ohmming my way through 20 minutes or so. It’s been good. I can feel it being better each day. How? Good question, hard to describe. Focus, clarity, peacefulness for a start.
Now I need/want to work the evening meditation session into my
schedule. So much to do so little time!
