After the Aspens, Rock Formations; the HAHAHA Vacation continues

Dad and I had a tailgate lunch after descending from the nine thousand feet. We were hungry after the cold and hiking among the trees.

A view from I-70

Wind and water at work.

Slices of rock.

On a vertical side these look like they were once mud.

Honey combs of rock on a vertical surface. I need to learn about geology.

Smooth, as if cut.

The central layer is about 2 feet thick.

I miagine someone saying to God, "Can ya do that?"

Wind at work.

This formation has a curling top just like a wave.

Waves and the honeycomb formation. Obviously the work of water.

Not sure what the halo is!

At Big Rock Candy Mountain.

Near Marysvale and the end of our day.
