Forest Tapestry

Gene with Rover and Sissy

You might have been expecting another food post tonight because I said THIS (I’m gonna do some real cooking tomorrow.) yesterday. I am cooking tonight and yes it is spanakopita and hummus and tabouli and falafel. Yes I am cooking.

But I cannot help myself to post these pictures I took on this mornings walk with Gene and the dogs.

Yesterday I noticed these beautiful patterns in some pine needles. Apparently the last big rain was long and hard enough to swirl swaths of pine needles into tapestry like patterns on an unused part of our dirt road. A better cameral would get much more detail but you get the idea.

Off to the kitchen I go to create that dinner. Look for pictures tomorrow or the next day.
